Neighborhood Revitalization Planning
Our mission is to improve
Tulsa through planning processes, programs and projects designed to
advance physical, economic and social well-being of neighborhoods
and defined areas of the city. This is accomplished by assisting
stakeholders in finding the community preferred solution to a
community defined issue. This results in comprehensive short and
long range implementation plans for Tulsa's neighborhoods.
These community based efforts have resulted in the preparation
and adoption of area plans and other revitalization planning
efforts. Once these plans are adopted, work continues in each area
to implement the vision presented by the area plan. As the City's
Comprehensive Plan Update Process begins, ongoing revitalization
planning efforts will continue and the adopted revitalization plans
will serve as a basis for implementation elements and, perhaps, as
components of the City's updated Comprehensive Plan.
