Community Centers

Tulsa Parks operates 9 community centers in parks throughout the city and maintains six additional centers that are operated by community partners. Each of the City-operated centers offers a variety of classes, activities and events. The Henthorne Performing Arts Center, consisting of Heller and Clark Theatre programs, specializes in performing arts activities. The WaterWorks Art Center focuses on visual arts - painting, drawing, sculpting, photography and more.

Centers such as Lacy and Hicks offer state-of-the-art fitness facilities equipped with weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, treadmills, stationary bicycles and other exercise equipment. Some centers have full-court gymnasiums, dance studios and gymnastics equipment.

Several centers host summer day camps and camps during Tulsa Public Schools' breaks. Each community center provides year-round programming designed to meet the needs of the community including games, fitness, arts and crafts, self-improvement, and social activities. The hours of operation vary per each Community Center.
